Directorship of the Fall Faculty Colloquium
Award Description: 
A one-course teaching load reduction, as negotiated with the department, allows the director to organize and conduct the faculty colloquium. Seven KU faculty members and one KU graduate student are selected to participate in a separate competition, which takes place in the spring semester following selection of the colloquium director. Each colloquium participant presents a paper, including the director and the graduate student. The director may request funding up to $1,000 to bring a visiting speaker to present at the colloquium.
